Ex-engineer turned startup entreprenuer
In 2008, I was working for Airbus on Lufthansa airlines A380 designing and manufacturing interior stowage cabins. I loved it! I thought I would always stay there, until 2012 came.
Textbooks were not being delivered to high school students across South Africa, and students were struggling to finish their most important years of school. I created a website and provided free access to exam resources accross South Africa and our lives changed forever. We landed a WSA & UNESCO award in Montreal for striving to meet the Millenium Development Goals (now SDGs).
By 2015, we had built an education company that was taken over by a Canadian PE looking to expand medical education across Africa and Middle East. In 2016, I got the Startup Visa to immigrate to Canada where I continue working on exciting ventures, and teaching entrepreneurship at Ontario Tech U.
